I originally borrowed this book from the library.  It was the 1958 edition.  The circulation stickers were piled up on the back flyleaf as thick as a notebook.  This 43 year old book had seen some serious use.  With a good reason, this book is a monument to courage and freedom.  I have a short list of books my children must read before leaving my home.  This is one of them.
